Jonah is an Oregon, Portland  based storyteller who is drawn to stories the world often overlooks.  He isn’t just interested in the camera; he’s interested in the act of witnessing. For him, the camera is a tool for memory, dignity, and truth. He grew up surrounded by untold stories, quiet ones, joyful ones, painful ones, and he now understands that telling them is a form of healing, resistance, and reclamation.

His work is rooted in survival, shaped by displacement, and driven by the urgent need to remember. Through documentary, he aims to illuminate the hidden corners of the human experience because even in the ashes, life finds a way.
